Our Financial Policy

Our office's financial policy has been established to allow us to keep our fees fair and reasonable for all. Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover.

Dental Insurance

We are an in-network provider for most BlueCross/BlueShield PPO dental plans and work with virtually all other dental PPO plans with out-of-network coverage. For our families with dental insurance, we submit all dental claims, accept payment on your behalf, and just ask that you pay the estimated balance after insurance at the time of your visit.

Dental insurance plans can vary widely in coverage, deductibles, and required co-pays. Dental insurance has never been intended to cover all costs for needed dental services. Regular hygiene care is typically covered at a higher percentage, while treatment to fix dental problems is typically covered at a lower percentage, leaving more financial cost to the family. As the policyholder, it is your responsibility to know the details of your insurance coverage.

We work diligently to maximize your dental benefits. We estimate what your insurance will cover and let you know what your anticipated responsibility is, which is due at the time of your appointment. After receiving payment from your insurance company, if there is an overpayment, a refund will be sent promptly. If there is still a balance due, a statement of your account will be sent for you to remit. It must be noted that all fees incurred are ultimately your responsibility.

Failed Appointments

We request 48-hour notice for any change to a scheduled appointment and reserve the right to charge a fee for appointments that are not canceled within this window of time.

Separated or Divorced

Payment is the responsibility of the parent accompanying the child to the dental appointment. This is very important so that there are no misunderstandings regarding the necessary treatment for your child.
