Dr. Susanne Wallengren, a Baltimore native, graduated from Friends School and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and French from the University of Pennsylvania. She received her dental degree from the University of Maryland in 1999, where she was awarded the Maryland Society of Dentistry for Children Achievement Award for excellence in pediatric dentistry. After completing a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Susanne and her family moved to New Hampshire where she was the dental director for Core Physicians Pediatric Dentistry Mobile Dental Program.

While in New Hampshire, Dr. Susanne confirmed her passion and aptitude for working with children. In 2010, Dr. Susanne and her family returned to Baltimore where she entered specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Maryland Dental School. She graduated from the residency program in 2013 and entered private practice.

Dr. Susanne is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Maryland Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Maryland State Dental Association. She holds privileges at the University of Maryland Rehabilitation and Orthopedic Institute and Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Dr. Wallengren is a member of the GBMC Cleft Lip and Palate Team, an interdisciplinary group of doctors supporting the needs and providing care to children with cleft lip, cleft palate or other craniofacial conditions.

Dr. Susanne loves practicing pediatric dentistry and caring for her patients. She strives to help each patient achieve optimal oral health and a lifelong positive attitude toward dental care. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Susanne stays active running, hiking and spending time with family and friends. She lives in Baltimore City with her husband, Matthew, a general dentist, their two college-aged children, and their rescue pup, Bella.
